Glendora, Here We Come!

This was a sentimental one! Luis and Gilda contacted me to sell their home in San Gabriel with much anxiousness and hesitation. This was the home they owned together for 30+ years, raised their children in, and made many memories with their grandchildren in. This quaint little home held endless memories for this family, but their next chapter was ready to be unveiled. Luis and Gilda's children and grandchildren were located in Glendora and the surrounding cities and they spent most of their days off driving to and from Glendora to be with them. At some point, they realized, "Why don't we relocate to be closer?"

Just the thought of leaving a home that was such a big part of their lives was enough to make this process emotional, but on top of that, we had to be sure that they could purchase a home in Glendora and close escrow at the same time so they were not out of a home! After many days of the unknown, and a seller's market with limited inventory, we finally found them the perfect home in Glendora. With meticulous planning and countless phone calls, we were able to get the two escrows to close together.

I cannot tell you how happy it made me to see the joy in this family once the home was theirs. The kids and grandkids were overjoyed to have their parents and grandparents close to them. The grandkids immediately walked through the house to claim their rooms and see the fun swimming pool. It was such a pleasure getting to know the whole family and watch their excitement in this new chapter of their lives. They have already gotten so much use out of the home and hosted a few parties! As I always say, when one door closes, another is sure to open. Congratulations to the Rivera Family - welcome home!
