The North Family

James, Kelly, and Isabelle came to me looking to purchase a home with an interesting story. They had been renting in Pasadena for years and were content with the fact that they probably would rent forever due to the increase of prices year after year. However, a blessing in disguise happened when James was severely injured by being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. The biggest blessing was that he made a full recovery. Additionally, because of this accident, the North Family was given a large settlement allowing them to purchase a home. But, even with a large settlement, they were in a popular price range for the area, making it very difficult to get offers accepted. We wrote offers as high as $75,000 over the asking price and would still get outbid. After over a year of never giving up, we finally got our offer accepted after the original buyer backed out on one of our favorite houses. This house was worth the wait. It is in a great location, good school district, has lots of potential, and is move-in ready! I loved getting to know the North Family through this process and have a feeling this is just the beginning of our friendship! Welcome home North's!
