The Most Important Room in Your House

What is the first thing you do when you get home after a long day? I don’t know about you, but for me, I go straight to the kitchen. Many times I am not even hungry, but it’s just a comforting, welcoming place to be. Or at least it should be.
Yes, the kitchen is the most important room in your house! The rest of your house can be outdated, but if you have a newly upgraded kitchen, it speaks volumes to buyers - monetarily and as a focal point of the house. The kitchen is the modern day living room - the gathering place. It is something to think about as a buyer or a seller. Would you want your kitchen if you were looking to buy? No? Make a few easy updates such as cleaning, organizing, de-cluttering, and maybe even painting the cabinets a light, neutral color.
Imagine walking into a home and seeing gorgeous cabinetry, sleek marble washed countertops, perfectly set dishware in the display cupboard, a beautiful stainless steel refrigerator, a huge gas range stove, an island with vintage bistro barstools, natural light coming through the big window above the sink, and the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. I’m pretty sure you’re sold and don’t need to see the rest of the house (but we’ll look anyways).
