A Taste of 'Heaven'

When I first saw this house come up on the market, I thought "this could be perfect." My buyer is a history enthusiast, so what could be better than a historical home in Pasadena? After learning more and more about the home, it became so interesting. We learned it was a historical landmark in an area called Bungalow Heaven.
These homes were built between 1904-1930 and many were part of the Arts and Crafts period. This Landmark District was created to preserve the history of these homes. So, even though this home was updated, most of the original build of the house was preserved, which is awesome! We found all of the permits at the city hall that showed the regulations the updaters had to follow in order to keep this home as original as possible.
This one in particular was built in 1913. It was later turned into a daycare, and then in 2014, it was changed back into a residential home. Now it belongs to my good friends, and clients who will start their lives together here and hopefully grow their family here (there are plenty of rooms for kids)!
